Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony aggravated an injury during
New York's 117-113 loss Tuesday night to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Anthony returned to the locker room in the second round to
get his left knee re-taped. Anthony said he injured his knee after hitting the
floor while scrambling for a loose ball.
Anthony, who has also made NBA News on many occasions said
his knee has been sore since New York's 95-90 win on Oct. 30 at Cleveland.
Anthony scored 26 points against the Bucks. Coach Derek
Fisher said he didn't know if it was "anything major," and that he
thought Anthony would be OK.
The player also made NBA News after the Knicks gave him a
five-year, $124 million contract in the offseason to stay in New York.

New York Knicks’ guard Iman Shumpet has made the latest NBA News as he is set to
return to the starting line up on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks
after a right hip contusion forced him to sit out a game.
Derek Fisher indicated that his player felt good and would
not have a minutes’ restriction. Shumpert is New York’s second-leading scorer
with an average of 12.4 point.
Rookie forward Cleanthony Early who has already made NBA
News had a successful surgery on his right knee Tuesday night. The player is
expected to miss at least a month’s action in the NBA.

A sprained right wrist will cause Timberwolves center Nikola
Pekovic to miss at least the next three games.
The announcement made NBA News after Coach Flip Saunders reported the
player’s progress on Tuesday.
This means that he will not play in home games this week
against the Knicks, Spurs and Kings. Saunders, says Pekovic will be re-evaluated
at the start of next week after getting injured against last week against
Dallas.
The big man from Montenegro has made NBA News before as he
has missed huge chunks of game time due to various ankle and foot ailments over
the last two seasons.

developed a rivalry with the Cavs. This statement was made despite the fact

James rather described the Spurs as the “blueprint” for

faces the Spurs on Wednesday night for the first time since he faced them when
he last played for the Miami Heat. The Heat lost to the Spurs in five games in
last season’s finals.
